Our first priority at Fortson’s Forte is you, the customer. Pianos can be very sentimental instruments and it is our goal that our customers know that their instrument is in good hands from the very start. Our company goes beyond piano maintenance, however. We are very fortunate to be located in a city that has our heart, Columbus, Georgia. It is impossible to work in piano maintenance and not connect work with the community in a city so rich in the arts. For this reason, part of our mission is developing those community relationships through education. Many tasks that we at Fortson's Forte perform daily to maintain instruments are easily doable at home. There is often a level of elitism and inaccessibility in the world of piano maintenance and we want piano maintenance to be accessible to all individuals. Through our education initiatives, we are able to open the doors for all to keep their pianos looking and sounding as good as possible! This community that we call home is what keeps our doors open and us continuing to work. We want to return the love by maintaining our community, one piano at a time.
