BRANDON FORTSON, OWNER AND LEAD TECHNICIAN
Hello! My name is Brandon Fortson, and I am the owner and founder of Fortson’s Forte Piano Services. I have been working as a piano technician since 2017 and officially founded Fortson’s Forte in 2020 with the goal of providing high-quality piano care throughout the Columbus area and beyond.
I specialize in piano tuning, repair, maintenance, regulation, voicing, and piano moving services. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is bringing instruments back to life and helping customers reconnect with their pianos through proper care and restoration.
I hold a degree in Music Education from Columbus State University and am also an active trumpet player. Over the years, I have performed in productions at the Springer Opera House as well as with the CSU Jazz Ensemble.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Olivia Fortson, and our four dogs: Roxy, Ruby, Valerie, and Cookie.

TRISTON PARSONS, TECHNICIAN
Hello! My name is Triston Parsons, and I am a piano technician with Fortson’s Forte Piano Services, where I have been working since 2024. I graduated summa cum laude from the Schwob School of Music in May 2025 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education after completing my apprenticeship under Brandon Fortson.
As a Columbus, Georgia native, one of the most rewarding parts of my work is serving the community I grew up in and helping customers experience the transformation that proper piano care can make. I especially enjoy seeing the excitement on a client’s face when they hear the before-and-after difference in their instrument.
When I’m not tuning pianos or performing repairs, I enjoy training dogs, spending time with my family, and making memories with my fiancée, Britney Nguyen.
