BRANDON FORTSON, OWNER AND LEAD TECHNICIAN
Hey, y'all! My name is Brandon Fortson and I am the owner of Fortson's Forte Piano Services. I have been a piano technician since 2017 and started Fortson's Forte in 2020. Fortson's Forte is run by a husband and wife team, me and my wife Olivia. I handle all things piano: repairing, tuning, moving, maintenance, and any on-sight services. My favorite part of my job is bringing pianos back to life and seeing our customers happy with their instrument.
I have a degree in music education from Columbus State University and am an avid trumpet player. I have played for shows at the Springer and in the CSU Jazz ensemble. I love spending time with my wife and our 4 dogs, Roxy, Ruby, Valerie, and Cookie.
OLIVIA FORTSON, CO-OWNER
Hi! My name is Olivia Fortson and I am the co-owner of Fortson's Forte Piano Services. I am a music educator and teach choir at a local public school. I love learning knew things and jumped on the opportunity to learn about piano maintenance when my husband Brandon started his business. I take care of all things online, social media, and design. I also assist with cleanings, regulations, and voicing. I love to read, spend time outside, and thrift.
TRISTON PARSONS, TECHNICIAN
Hello! My name is Triston Parsons and I am currently apprenticing as a piano technician with Brandon Fortson. In addition to my apprenticeship, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education at the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University. As a Columbus, Georgia native, my favorite part of my job is giving back to my community and seeing customers faces light up when they hear the before and after difference of their piano. When I’m not tuning pianos or handling repairs, I enjoy training dogs and spending time with my family.
